Simple Patriotic Oreos

These Patriotic Oreos are fairly simple to create but make a big impression! I just love the sprinkles!

SIMPLE PATRIOTIC OREOS

Ingredients

• OREOs
• Vanilla almond bark
• Red Wilton candy melts
• Sprinkles (I used a Wilton mix that had several varieties to decorate the cookie)

Instructions

1. Melt the almond bark in the microwave for a couple of minutes.
2. Dip each OREO halfway into the white almond bark. Let cool.
3. In a separate bowl, melt the red candy melts. Place inside a frosting bag (or Ziploc bag). Cut the tip of the corner to allow for drawing lines on the cookie.
4. Draw red squiggly lines on each OREO.
5. While it is wet, decorate the cookie with festive red, white and blue sprinkles.
