Mama Sue’s Crockpot Dr. Pepper Pork Roast

MAMA SUE'S CROCKPOT DR. PEPPER PORK ROAST

Slow-cooked flavorful sandwiches using pork roast and Dr. Pepper. You will love how easy and delicious Mama Sue's recipe is.

Ingredients

  • 1 pork roast (shoulder roast)
  • 1 large onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can Dr. Pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion and put it in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Put roast in and salt and pepper it. Lay the fat side up. Pour the Dr. Pepper in the pot. Add brown sugar.
  3. Cook all night on low or all day. It will be so tender you can pull it apart with a fork. Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce.
