SUGAR-FREE FRESH STRAWBERRY DUMP CAKE

A simple, sugar-free strawberry dessert with a buttery golden topping--easy, comforting, and perfect for a sweet treat without the sugar spike.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/3-1/2 cup Splenda (adjust to taste)
  • 1 box sugar-free yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter, sliced into thin pats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries and Splenda until well coated. Pour into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the strawberries--do not stir.
  5. Place thin pats of butter evenly across the top, covering as much of the cake as possible.
  6. Bake 40-45 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
