Shepherd's Pie

Shepherd's Pie is a family favorite. This recipe is easy and DeLiCiOuS!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package (10 ounce) frozen mixed vegetables, rinsed
  • 2 cps mashed potatoes (or instant mashed potatoes)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 400°.
  2. While the oven is heating, season the beef with salt and pepper. Cook the beef with the onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Pour off any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mixed vegetables.
  4. Spread the mashed potatoes over the beef mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and the potatoes are lightly browned.
