EASY CHICKEN POT PIE
All the comfort of homemade chicken pot pie without all the work! This easy version comes together quickly with canned veggies, tender chicken, and golden, buttery biscuits on top.
Ingredients
- 2 cans chicken breast, drained, or 2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 2 cans sliced carrots, drained
- 2 cans peas, drained
- 2 cans diced potatoes, drained
- 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8-count) can refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, mushrooms, cream of chicken soup, and cream of mushroom soup, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the refrigerated biscuits evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
