Pork Chop Casserole

PORK CHOP CASSEROLE
A comforting casserole with tender pork chops, creamy potatoes, and melted Cheddar cheese. Perfect for and easy family meal.
Ingredients
- 6 large pork chops
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides.
- Arrange the sliced potatoes in an even layer in the bottom of the dish. Top with the chopped onion and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the browned pork chops over the potato mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Pour evenly over the pork chops.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the Cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through, the potatoes are tender, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
