Low-Carb Burger Bowls
When I saw this recipe, I knew I had to try it! It has all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a fresh delicious bowl. And trust me--don't skip the homemade burger sauce. It makes the dish!

BURGER BOWLS
When I saw this recipe, I knew I had to try it! It has all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a fresh delicious bowl. And trust me--don't skip the homemade burger sauce. It makes the dish!
Ingredients
BURGER SAUCE
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste (1/4 teaspoon each)
TOPPINGS
- 6 cups chopped Romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1 cup red onion, diced
BURGER MEAT
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- For the Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together all of the ingredients and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- For the burger toppings: Prep all the toppings so that when the burger meat is done you can eat them warm.
- For the burger meat: In a large skillet, brown the meat until no longer pink over medium high heat. Drain. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir until mixed well. Serve warm with desired burger toppings and sauce.
