This is one of my favorite chicken recipes from my sweet Aunt Lannette. It's so easy to make and delicious too.

Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless chicken breasts, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 envelope dry Italian seasoning mix
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 stick butter, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together chicken broth, soup, and Italian seasoning mix in a bowl. Pour over chicken.
  3. Add butter and cream cheese.
  4. Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Before serving shred the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Serve over hot steamed rice or mashed potatoes. I used Microwave Steamed Rice from Ben's Complete.
