Thanksgiving Sugar Cone Teepees

These sweet Thanksgiving sugar cone teepees are a fun way to spend a little family time together while making a delicious snack.

Ingredients

  • Sugar cones
  • Chocolate almond bark
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Pretzel rods
  • Fall sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet with waxed paper.
  2. Carefully cut the point of each sugar cone, removing about 1/2 inch allowing enough room for one pretzel rod to pass through the opening. Break or cut the pretzel rod the same size as the sugar cone.
  3. In the microwave, melt the chocolate almond bark in a microwavable safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring well between each cycle.
  4. Acting quickly, dip the large opening of each sugar cone into the melted chocolate about 1/4 inch and remove from chocolate.
  5. Next, dip the small opening of the sugar cone into the melted chocolate.
  6. Finally, dip the tip of the pretzel rod into the melted chocolate.
  7. Roll the large opening of the sugar cone in sprinkles.
  8. Place the chocolate-dipped pretzel rod into the sugar cone and hold it in place for a few seconds.
  9. Place the sugar cone on the waxed paper.
  10. To assemble the top of the teepee, dip the tip of three pretzel sticks into the melted chocolate and gently place it into the top of the opening of the sugar cone teepee. Hold in place until the chocolate has set enough to move your hands without the pretzel stick falling.
