An old-school favorite made the simple way--no yeast, no waiting, just soft, sweet cinnamon rolls ready in minutes.
Ingredients
CINNAMON ROLLS
- 2 1/2 cups Bisquick
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
GLAZE
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- splash of vanilla
- pinch of salt
Instructions
CINNAMON ROLLS
- Preheat oven to 400°F. and grease a baking dish or pan.
- In a bowl, mix Bisquick, 1 tablespoon sugar, and milk until soft dough forms.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently roll into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll up tightly from the long side and slice into rounds.
- Place rolls on prepared pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
GLAZE
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, salt, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.
