JALAPENO POPPER CHICKEN BAKE

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 5-6 jalapeños, seeded and diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread cubed chicken evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth. Add garlic powder and heavy cream; stir until well combined.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Top with diced jalapeños, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and casserole is hot and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and top with crumbled bacon before serving.
