Bright green, tender-crisp broccoli tossed with buttery lemon goodness and Parmesan cheese. This copycat version is a simple, delicious side dish that tastes just like the restaurant favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2-1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cut the broccoli into florets.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the broccoli and boil for 5-7 minutes, just until it turns bright green and is tender-crisp. Do not overcook. You want a little bite left in the broccoli.
- Drain the broccoli well.
- Place the hot broccoli in a bowl and drizzle with melted butter, and fresh lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and gently toss to coat. Serve warm.
