CHURRO CHEX MIX

This is such a fun and easy treat to make for Cinco de Mayo!

Ingredients

• 9 cups Corn Chex
• 1 10 oz. bag of cinnamon chips
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
• 2 T ground cinnamon
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

1. Place cereal in a large mixing bowl.
2. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and cinnamon.
3. In a medium microwave-safe bowl heat cinnamon chips and butter at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to heat at 50% power in 20-second intervals until the mixture is smooth.
4. Pour the mixture over the cereal and stir to coat.
5. Add powdered sugar mixture and stir to coat.
6. Add granulated sugar and stir to coat.
7. Spread on wax paper and allow to cool.
