PIPER'S NUTTER BUTTER GHOSTS

These cute cookies are the perfect treat to make with your kiddos for Halloween. With just three ingredients, they make an easy no-fuss dessert.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz vanilla candy coating, cut into pieces (I use Walmart's Great Value Almond Bark)
  • 1 (1 lb) package Nutter Butter cookies
  • Candy Eyes

Instructions

  1. Place broken almond bark in a microwavable bowl.
  2. Microwave almond bark for 1 minute.
  3. Remove almond bark from the microwave and stir.
  4. Microwave for 1 more minute or until almond bark is completely melted.
  5. Stir until the almond bark is smooth.
  6. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or put wax paper under wire cooling racks.
  7. Dip the entire cookie into melted almond bark, letting excess drip off. I used a candy dipping tool to make this easier.
  8. Lay on the wire cooling rack.
  9. Place 2 candy eyes.
  10. Let stand for about 10 minutes until set.
  11. FOR BANDAGES- I cut a small corner out of a Ziploc bag and put about 3 tablespoons of melted almond bark in the bag. I drizzled the almond bark over each cookie in a criss-cross pattern.
