The process of decorating for Halloween doesn’t have to be tedious. I always look for easy and simple ways to make my house ready for the holiday. Decorating my front porch is always a must, along with my fireplace mantel.

When we moved into our house, the walls were more of a brown shade so the white fireplace looked good. But when we re-painted the walls white, the fireplace just needed to be changed. I’ve been wanting to do it for a while now, so I’m glad that this gave me a reason to make it happen. I painted it a pretty shade of medium gray. It really pops!
