CROCKPOT HAM WITH BROWN SUGAR PINEAPPLE SYRUP

This tender, slow-cooked ham is glazed in a sweet brown sugar pineapple syrup, making it a perfect centerpiece for your Easter table.

Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked spiral ham (6-8 lbs)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional, but so good)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Place the ham in the crockpot spiral slices up.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pineapple, brown sugar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and cloves.
  3. Spoon or rub the mixture all over the ham, getting in between the slices.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours (or until heated through), basting with the juices a couple of times if possible.
  5. Slice and serve warm or make yummy ham sandwiches.
